What do current members say is the best part about being a Soroptimist?
The best part of being a Soroptimist is being able to extend our help to and uplift the lives of women and children in need. It also helps us to widen our horizons, gain more friends and business associates, meet important people like ambassadors, travel to different places, and develop our personalities and talents.
How has your club specifically affected the lives of women and girls in the community and around the world?
Our club’s advocacies have uplifted the lives of women by extending assistance, education, livelihood, legal advice, skills training, and many others.
What makes your club unique?
In our organization, helping those who are in need are a source of our satisfaction and happiness. But we also find time to bond with each other whenever we are free and we call it “Day-Off”. Every member enjoys the company of everyone so everybody ends up cheerful and in high spirits.
Why would someone join your club instead of another volunteer organization?
There are no organization like the Soroptimist International. Being a member of this club makes you help needy women and children in fulfilling their dreams and aspirations.
