SIPR held it's UWHA Gala night at Teatriano Promenade Greenhills last March 27,2014. The event was attended by the of SIPR member clubs.
SI SJDM II is proud to announce that their nominee. Sister Rosalia Cervantes, was one of the UWHA recipient.
Also, the keynote speaker of the said event was Sen. Lauren Legarda.
All of the winners received cash prizes from the SIA.

Our club had a back-to-back win at 2014 Unsung Women's Heroes Awards(UWHA) and Women's Opportunity Awards(WOA). Our candidates namely Sister Rosalia Cervantes and Mary Ann Defensor both won cash prizes from the Soroptimist International Federation. The latter for UWHA and the former for WOA.
The club celebrated their victory by giving them recognition at the Women's Month Celebration of the city government of San Jose del Monte Bulacan.
The said event was held last March 3,2013 at the city covered court of San Jose del Monte Bulacan.
Also, part of the program is a cultural dance presentation by the ladies of SI SJDM II.

From San Jose del Monte, Rosalia is an active Christian community builder, an ecumenical broadcast evangelist, and a community righteous volunteer worker.
She advocates women for spiritual empowerment and moral recovery enhancement to produce new generation of women with high morale, dignity, pride, and fear of God. She believes women play a big role and responsibility in building up model families of their own and in creating a community that strive for success, progress, development, unity, peace, and order.
She also leads the people to avail different government programs and projects, and to encourage government officials to implement quality services of good governance and excellent performances. She also invites the private sectors or entities to be a good steward of God and to share their blessings and be the sponsor for different charitable projects, programs, and services.
Her Advocacy . . . Serving God Thru His people and do it all for the Glory of God!

SOROPTIMIST JARGONS
Having a hard time dealing with the jargons of our club?Then this is the article that would give light to your context clues solving.
To further cater in the comprehension of our readers we decided to compile and the terminologies and acronyms that can be found here in our website.
We hope this article will help you a lot in understanding more about the works and deeds of Soroprimist International.
But before I lay down our list let me first discuss the etymology of our club's name "SOROPTIMIST".
The word SOROPTIMIST came from two Latin words "SOROR" and "OPTIMA".The latter means "SISTER" and the former means "BEST". So if we derive the meaning of Soroptimist from it's etymology this would mean "Best Sister". And indeed, every Soroptimist serves as a best sister for all of us. Currently, the Soroptimist organization,adopted the tag line "Best for Women" .
So here's our official list.
BSD CLUBS AT THE PHILIPPINE CONGRESS
It is with great honor that SI SJDM II was invited by Congresswoman Linabelle Ruth Villarica,4th District Representative of Bulacan, to attend to one of the sessions of the Philippine Congress.
The event was held last March 3,2014 at the Plenary Hall off the House of Representatives.
Congresswoman Villarica is the Chair of Committee on Women and Gender Equality at the Philippine House of Representatives.
The activity was attended by SI Bulacan South District Member Clubs. After the session, the Soroptimist ladies were treated by Congressman Villarica to a sumptuous dinner at Luk Foo Restaurant along Commonwealth Avenue Quezon CIty.
SI SJDM GOES TO MANILA OCEAN PARK
There's this kid inside in all of us and the ladies of SI SJDM II are no exception.
SI SJDM II went to Manila Ocean Park last March 7,2013. The trip aims to promote camaraderie among members and the ladies of SI SJDM II could not think of any other fun way to do it.
After roaming around the theme park and watching different shows, SI SJDM II had their dinner at the Hotel H20 main food and beverage outlet at Makan Makan Aisan Food Village. The ladies were treated by wide variation of different Asian Cuisines.
More so, accordng to SI President Nida Nicolas, they plan to conduct this kind of activities to all the club members to further establish sisterhood and friendship to members.
Truly, this is one fun experience for the ladies.
